Distributed Generation and Reliability of Local Distribution System: Diverse Impacts of Distributed Generation on Distribution System Reliability

This book covers reliability analysis of distribution system. With the passage of time the development of distributed generation technologies is becoming broad and diverse. Power system reliability is one of the most important area in electric power system which deals with continuous supply of power and customer satisfaction. Around the world many power generation and distribution companies conduct reliability tests to ensure continuous supply of power to its customers. Injection of distributed generation unit into distribution system increase reliability. Different reliability tests were performed to find the optimum location to plant distributed generation in distribution system.

Sana Sardar received BSc Electrical Engineering degree from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad & MSc Electrical Engineering (Power) degree from IQRA National University, Peshawar, Pakistan in 2014 & 2016 respectively. Currently works as Lecturer at IQRA National University, Peshawar, Pakistan.
