Divine Ardor Poems of Time, Invocation and Faith

Divine Ardor is not a book you merely read. It is a pilgrimage you undertake - through forests, temples, myths and the innermost shrine of your own heart. In these 21 offerings, devotion takes many forms. Sometimes it is the troubled pilgrim standing before Sinhadwara, finding quiet confidence in the celestial smile of Patitapabana. Sometimes it is the lover lost in the green groves of Vrindavan, listening to a flute that whispers the secrets of the universe. It is at once ecstacy and surrender, Joy and tears. It is an ardor that is ever new.

The author, a retired banker, is a devotee and seeker from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, whose heart finds its home in the sacred groves of Lord Jagannath. Divine Ardor, is his humble offering - a confluence of faith, poetry and divine love. Through simple verses, he seeks to share the twilight glow where the human soul meets the Divine.
