The diary opens at Grantham on 21 October 1916. 1916 is spent at Grantham. 1917 at Bois Grenier and Rue Du Bois and Bois Grenier Sectors. It closes at Houthulst Forest on 31 December 1917. Grantham is where it spent longest, 116 days, including a single unbroken stay of 116 and it came back to Bois Grenier three separate times. In 1917 it is also recorded at Southampton, Havre, Abbeville, Bailleul, Swartenbrouch, Estaires, Bois Grenier France, Rue Du Bois, Bois Grenier And Rue Du Bois Sectors and Pippemont.
