Division

A gentle, verdant breeze, spiraling, swirling with the tinge of an emerald

- whispering upon my flesh. Your eyes, a gale -

Calming.

Surreal.

Gentle.

A sea of leaves waving

- as they see me.

Were it not me... I am wholly unworthy. A storm of crystalline

pines - a tempest forms as the rain pours from the fields.

A cyclone severing the meadows. Emerging from them.

Your eyes, a gale.

Frightening roars of

agonized winds - hurling

everything I considered

static - peals of lightning

flashing among the

sage colored clouds

- falling like rivers cutting

through the forest.

Your eyes,

a gale.

Your eyes,

a gale.

Your eyes, have died.

"Your Eyes, A Gale" - A Canvas Torn

Welcome to the world of "Division." In these pages, I invite you to join me on a deeply personal voyage through the intricate emotions that shape our lives.

Within this book, you won't find much flowery language or many grandiose claims. Instead, you'll discover raw and honest reflections on themes that touch us all. Loss, regret, mental health, suicide, love—these are the threads that weave the fabric of our existence, and I've sought to capture their essence with my utmost personal authenticity.

These poems are like a mirror, offering glimpses into the emotions that sometimes hide in the shadows. I've delved into the corners of my mind, exploring the complexities that often go unspoken. Through my words, I hope to create a space where you can find pieces of your own journey, resonating with the emotions that may have long been silently nestled within you.

"Division" isn't about selling you a fantasy; it's about sharing a piece of my soul. I've shared my vulnerabilities on these pages, allowing you to witness the struggles and triumphs that have shaped me. As you immerse yourself in these verses, my hope is that you'll feel a connection, a kinship that reminds you that you're never truly alone in your experiences.

Life isn't always neatly wrapped; it's messy, intricate, and often divided between joy and sorrow. Through these poems, I've tried to navigate that division, finding the common threads that bind us. You'll find no grand solutions here—just an invitation to explore the emotional landscapes we all traverse.

"Division" is more than a collection of poems—it's a piece of my heart that I'm sharing with you. I invite you to take a journey with me, to explore the uncharted territories of the human heart and mind. Let's embark on this introspective voyage together, and perhaps, we'll find a sense of unity in our shared experiences.

I'll look for you in the divide, and I'm sure you will find me there.
