After humans destroyed the Earth with nuclear weapons, a small number of them worldwide made it into space. Over time the individual country space stations began to malfunction. There was a vote among the surviving countries and a decision to unite all the countries' stations to make The Pangea Space Station. There are rich and powerful people on the station, and then there's everyone else.

Human DNA had to be altered to remove all sickness and natural reproduction to achieve longevity in space. Scientists include additional modifications to help humans adapt to life in space. The scientists named it DNX.
