About the Author

Since she was a young girl, author P Jayne Stone has been taking care of sick and injured animals. She had always wanted to become a veterinarian, or work for one, so that she could help take care of the many creatures that are in need of medical attention. She worked for a very capable, kind veterinarian for a few years, and was subsequently hired by a terrible one. This experience compelled her to write a fictionalized account of all that she witnessed in order to warn others of what can happen when they entrust their animals to the care of the wrong person.
