Doctor Who: The Time of Angels: 11th Doctor Novelisation

Maureen O’Brien reads this gripping novelization of the 2010 BBC TV adventure.

An improbably call for help from River Song draws the Doctor and Amy to the wreck of the starship Byzantium on the world of Alfava Metraxis.

The wreck contains a deadly cargo – a Weeping Angel, determined to escape. And the starship’s crash site, infringing on a sprawling subterranean tomb, is no coincidence.

In uneasy alliance with a squad of military clerics, the Doctor’s investigation becomes a desperate battle to survive as an army of implacable, quantum-locked killers grows ever stronger – and flesh becomes stone.

Maureen O’Brien, who played Vicki in the original BBC TV Doctor Who series, reads bestselling author Jenny T Colgan’s novelization of Steven Moffat’s classic two-part SF thriller from Matt Smith’s first season as the Eleventh Doctor.
