About Shell Education
Rachelle Cracchiolo started the company with a friend and fellow teacher. Both were eager to share their ideas and passion for education with other classroom leaders. What began as a hobby, selling lesson plans to local stores, became a part-time job after a full day of teaching, and eventually blossomed into Teacher Created Materials. About the Author
Sarah Kartchner Clark, Ph.D., has been writing and publishing curriculum for many years, with much of her work published in national and international literacy and teacher education journals. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and her Master's degree in Language, Reading, and Culture from the University of Arizona. She earned her Ph.D. from Utah State University where she is currently an Assistant Professor of Elementary Education. Dr. Clark's research focuses on literacy education, teacher preparation, support for novice teachers, and support for struggling readers.
