Both volumes: 18.5 x 13cm; spines somewhat sunned, though otherwise in very good condition. Documents from the proceedings of the first and second plenary sessions of the 5th National People's Congress, at which Hua Guofeng was confirmed as Premier following the death of Zhou Enlai. By this stage, Hua had also assumed the role of Chairman of the Communist Party following the death of Mao Zedong, having been fully confirmed in that capacity at the 11th National Congress of the CPC in 1977.
