25cm, xlix,495p. index, half bound in crimson morocco, raised black and gilt decorated bands, gilt extra border decorations in the panels, gilt titles, red cloth boards, some minor wear, a fine copy in fine binding.(atl) During this period some government publications were bound in a presentation binding. Typically 10 or 12 copies were done; one or two for the author, one for assistants, one for the King's Printer, one for the Minister, etc. These bindings had a somewhat consistent style.
