DOG BUTTON TRAINING LOGBOOK

Track Your Dog’s Words, Progress, and Milestones

This is more than a blank journal.
The Dog Button Training Logbook is a guided coaching logbook designed to support real-world button training—step by step, session by session.

Created as a companion to Dog Button Training: Teach Your Dog to Talk — A Practical Guide to Button Communication, this 120-page logbook helps you organize training sessions, track emerging communication, and stay focused during the critical early stages of learning.

Inside this logbook, you’ll find:

• Structured daily log pages for recording button use, context, and observations

• Coaching and reminder checklists every 10 sessions to help guide your button training journey

• Dedicated space to track newly added words and button locations

• Guided reflection prompts to help identify patterns and meaningful progress

Rather than leaving you alone with empty pages, this logbook provides intentional structure—helping you stay oriented, confident, and consistent as your dog’s communication skills develop.

Designed to be practical, encouraging, and easy to use, the Dog Button Training Logbook supports the learning process—not perfection—because every button press counts.
