The Dog Park Problem: An Honestly, Ian Book

Fred is a Jack Russell Terrier. He goes places. Usually he takes Ian with him.

Last Saturday, Fred dragged Ian straight toward Bruno -- a big dog at the far end of the park that nobody was quite sure about. Mr. Petersen said Bruno was the problem. Ian was not sure that was right.

Bruno had been bumping into smaller dogs. That part was true. But Ian had also noticed that when Fred was involved, things got more complicated. The paw prints in the dirt were wrong. The timing was wrong. And Ian had the whole thing on video.

His best friend Jade told him exactly what to do. She was very clear: talk to Mrs. Kowalski, just her, keep it short. Two instructions.

Ian followed one of them.

Honestly, Ian: The Dog Park Problem is a chapter book about evidence, interference, and what happens when a very friendly Jack Russell Terrier makes all the important decisions. For readers ages 8-10 who like dogs, facts, and characters who say what they actually think.
