About the Author

John Wright is a pioneer in the field of animal behavior. A certified animal behaviorist, Wright frequently presents seminars and workshops on the diagnosis of feline and canine behavior to state, regional, and national veterinary medical associations, animal control associations, and humane societies. Wright is a professor of psychology at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, where he resides, and is a 15-year animal behavior consultant veteran.
