It's the first day of school at Rainforest Elementary, and Dogfish can't wait to make new friends. But while swinging on the playground, he hears a whimper that grows into a cry, a Pink Dolphin curled into a tiny ball, tired of being teased for being different.
Dogfish knows just what to do! Join Dogfish and his friends as they learn what it really means to stand up for someone, and discover that a little kindness can turn someone's whole day around.
With a bouncing, read-aloud rhythm and simple, real ways for kids to help a friend, from speaking up to telling a trusted adult, this inspiring story gives children the words and the courage to stand up to bullying.
An award-winning book in the Dogfish Tales series
Dogfish Stands Up to Bullying is part of the beloved, award-winning Dogfish Tales series and winner of the Mom's Choice Award, the Purple Dragonfly Book Award, and the Story Monsters Approved Award. Dogfish Tales is also available in accessible video and audiobook formats, made possible through a partnership with the nonprofit Imagination Storybooks, so every child can join Dogfish under the sea.
A wonderful story about acceptance for kids
It's easy to spread kindness by what we say and do. Dive in with Dogfish and discover that it all starts with you.
