Dogoyles (Paperback)

Paperback. What happens when two extraordinary dogs become part of a family-and then discover that the world around them is filled with mysteries, history, supernatural creatures, and adventures beyond imagination? Meet Sven and Lena, two Shih-Tzus who are much more than ordinary pets. They are devoted members of Ole's family, clever enough to communicate with their human, operate computers, investigate mysteries, and become involved in adventures that take them far beyond their everyday life along the Mississippi River. When Lena first comes to live with Ole and Sven, she is an eleven-month-old Shih-Tzu in need of a new home. What begins as a foster arrangement gradually becomes something much more meaningful as Sven learns to accept his new little sister and the three become a family. Their bond grows stronger through difficult times, laughter, and shared experiences. Their adventures soon take an extraordinary turn. A mysterious family history leads to the discovery of a hidden time machine, sending Ole, Sven, and Lena into the past and into experiences they could never have imagined. In Dogoyles, Sven and Lena investigate mysterious attacks on cats in a small Minnesota town and discover that the culprits are supernatural stone creatures that come to life. Then comes Vortex Valley, followed by Hollywood Hounds, where the family's reputation as supernatural problem solvers takes Sven and Lena into still more unusual adventures. Funny, imaginative, mysterious, and deeply rooted in family, Dogoyles is another adventure with Sven and Lena that proves life is never ordinary when dogs are part of the family.
