A Dog's Life

From morning till night, a dog’s life is very busy. He wakes people up. He welcomes visitors. He washes dishes. He keeps humans warm. Without a dog around, how would a family get through the day? This wonderfully endearing text by debut author Caroline Sherman is matched with adorable digital artwork by Donald Wu.

Caroline Sherman lives in the Washington, D.C., area with her husband, her children Pascal and Theodora, and her dog Tully, who does his best to help out around the house by picking things up off the floor, washing the children’s hands, and, very rarely, spot cleaning the carpet.

Donald Wu was born in Hong Kong but grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, where he spent many days doodling in school. Currently, his favorite medium is colored pencils over acrylic, although he also paints with watercolors. His most recent books include Change-up: Baseball Poems by Gene Fehler and Dogerella by Maribeth Boelts. Mr. Wu continues to live and doodle in the San Francisco Bay area.
