WASHINGTON, Nov. 18¿ ''Demonstrative evidence works like magic for Mark Dombroff, says his publcist. ''Mark Dombroff recognizes the essentially theatrical nature of trial work and has mastered the art." Who is Mark Dombroff ? H may be the first Government lawyer to hire his own public relations company. A Legal Lion in the tradition of ''Melvin Belli, the 'King of Torts, perhaps. Why does a Justice Department lawyer whose only client is the United States Government need a public relations company? Mr. Dombroff's answer is that he is ''a very entrepreneurial, driven person'' who has written five books and numerous articles on legal topics and who expects to leave the Government for private law practice in the not-too- remote future. So, in the interview, Mr. Dombroff was asked whether he thought Chief Justice Warren E. Burger was right when he complained, in an Aug. 5 speech in Chicago, about the ''spectacle'' of lawyers selling themselves ''in much the way that automobiles, dog food, cosmetics and hair tonic are touted.'' ''It's somewhat of a caricature of the situation,'' the lawyer replied. ''I've seen some very good advertising that by any standard would be good and some very bad advertising that by any standard would be bad.'' Sounds like a lawyer, right? Got to admit he's an interesting study! Great gift for your favorite judge. First edition , 1st prtg. NF - no markings. Top of spine has tiny rubbed spot. That's it!. Bookseller Inventory # 004708
