The Dominion of Animals: The Reversal of Roles

In The Dominion of the Animals: The Reversal of the Roles, Vijay Soni turns his attention to humanity's relationship with the animal world. Through an imaginative reversal in which animals acquire authority over human beings, he invites readers to consider an uncomfortable but important question: How would human beings feel if they were treated in the same manner in which they often treat animals?

The book is not intended merely to condemn humanity. It also recognises the kindness, compassion, rescue work, and affection shown by countless people towards animals. Its deeper purpose is to encourage reflection, empathy, and a more humane coexistence between human beings and all other living creatures.

Vijay Soni believes that literature can do more than entertain. It can awaken conscience, question accepted practices, and inspire positive change. Through his writing, he hopes to contribute in his own modest way towards creating a world that is more compassionate, just, peaceful, and respectful of every form of life.
