A collection of 12 signed and inscribed books. Prior to his death, Farber wrote a memoir titled, I hated to do it. The last section in the book was titled In Memoriam, in which he transcribes the Eulogy he read at Vonnegut s funeral. He talked about the relationship he and Vonnegut had over the years as it evolved from business, to personal and the evolution of their friendship based on the inscriptions Vonnegut wrote in Farbers books. Several of the books and their inscriptions mentioned in the eulogy are in this collection! They were obviously very special to Farber, who was perhaps the closest friend Vonnegut had. He was also Vonnegut s Attorney and literary agent and after his death, the trustee of his literary estate.
