5.5 x 8.5 inches. In black cloth covers with gilt to spine. With illustrated dustwrapper. In very good condition with very good dustwrapper. (d/w. Spine slightly faded. Not price clipped. With protective plastic wrap). Small marks to endpapers. Else a very clean and tight copy. 204 pp. With b/w photographs and illustrations. After the Russian Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 most of Russia?s ruling class either went into exile, were killed or dispossessed. The author uses contemporary letters and diaries to illustrate the impact of the Revolution on that class of people.
