In a similar way, Tim Botts has taken sixty of the great Bible passages and, in his fresh, emotive style, interwoven background, text, and image so they become one. His unique style strikes a beautiful balance between visual expression and legibility with the ultimate goal of giving a face to that which is of the Spirit. From consummate art lover to child, from urbane scholar to the common man--all can derive pleasure and inspiration from this work. May Doorposts be a reminder in your home of our God, who has communicated His love to us.TIMOTHY R. He is a part-time instructor with College of DuPage and has taught workshops internationally. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Newberry Library. His newest body of work, Bound for Glory, is based on African American spirituals. In 1995, together with friends, he helped form Masterpiece Ministries, an outreach to high school students in the arts, and he is currently their artistic director.
