About the Author
Joshaline Douglas is originally from Durham, North Carolina. She is a social worker by trade, but a mother, speaker, advocate, change agent, and now an author by day. Joshaline is the youngest daughter of four siblings. She always knew from a young age social work was her calling, due to her childhood upbringing. Joshaline obtained her BSW from North Carolina A&T State University and her MSW from North Carolina Central University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D in Human Services and aspires to teach in higher education. Joshaline resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her son.
