Down for the Count

"... interesting poems that take you to unusual places, captivate the imagination... clever use of imagery and poetic rhythm..." - Deborah Morrison, author, Mystical Poetry "G. W. Down is a rare talent... intriguing... impressive... a gifted poet ... effortlessly draws the reader deep inside the moods and places he creates." - Michael B. Davie, author, Poetry for the Insane: The Full Mental "G.W. Down's poems engage the reader with clarity and colourful imagery..." - Elizabeth Grandbois, author, In Dreams

G. W. Down leads a dangerous double life - business executive by day and at other times, a strider on the edges of the after-hours, striking with metaphors at the essence of existence - his true identity known only to a select circle: the readers of his words and verses.
