Synopsis
Downloading the Universe: Click here This is a book, simply put, about “WHY we are here.” Written by Japanese author Mihoko Sekido, who published in Japan the very first book on raw food diets, her American debut chronicles her extraordinary life, one that has so far been full of passion, magic, the supernatural, unusual comedy, tragedies, and triumphs. Downloading the Universe is also like a shot of Maccha Green Tea, as it's packed with enlightening holistic ingredients. From personal transformation advice told in layman’s terms, to amazing anecdotes based on the real life events of the author, it offers practical tools and methods to leading a more happier and fulfilled life. You will learn how a person can spiritually “die” and be “reborn” as a changed person, after realizing that one can lead infinitely different types of life experiences, if one believes and allows it. Mihoko's life is itself a testimony that nothing can stop a person except for him/herself, and that all things are indeed possible in this lifetime.
About the Author
Mihoko Sekido is a native Tokyoite who has been involved in the forefront of the pioneering movements that dramatically affect how we live. In Tokyo, she was a part of creating the first classified paper/ free paper in Japan. In New York in the late 90?s, she was a part of the most cutting-edge IT firm, helping to bring American IT to Japan. Her career took a 180 degree turn after she developed a devastating facial eczema while working for a prestigious beauty company, and after seeing no improvement with dermatologists, she turned to health and nutrition and holistic healing. She self-studied nutrition and natural healing modalities, including Aroma Therapy, Flower Essences, Bio-feedback, Theta Healing, Martial Arts, DNA Activation, Detoxification, Craniosacral Therapy and more. Using what she learned, she not only healed herself, but also became the author of the Japan's very first book on Raw/Living Food Lifestyle, "Hajimite Miyo Raw Food Lifestyle", which was published in 2005. It has since not only started the Raw Food movement in Japan but continues to inspire people there on a daily basis to adapt a healthier approach to their lives.
