Extremely nice copy of a book which generally doesn't wear well. This is a copy of the 9th edition of Dracula, but the first to be published by Rider, with a completely reset text, after the various issues and editions by Constable (see Dalby p.28). Publisher's stippled red cloth with decorative blind-stamping to front cover and spine and gilt spine titling. Ownership inscription on ffep and very occasional slight marking to margins from handling else an unusually clean and perfectly sound volume. Scarce in any condition but particularly so thus.
