Drafts Of A Mind Once Sane

In the space between silence and survival, there is truth. This raw and emotionally charged collection of poems explores what it means to feel deeply. Even when it's too much, even when it's nothing at all. Through themes of anxiety, nostalgia, dissociation, healing, and the fragile hope of joy returning, Allyson captures the quiet chaos of the human experience with honesty and grace. These are poems for the ones who overthink, the ones who shut down, the ones trying to find color in a grayscale world. A song is more than a song. And you are more than what you've survived.

Allyson's work is a journey through the raw, untamed landscapes of emotion and self-exploration. I write to uncover the hidden corners of the mind, embracing the tension between sanity and chaos. Through poetry, she seeks to voice what often goes unspoken, crafting drafts of thoughts that oscillate between clarity and madness. Allyson's writing is a constant exploration, a way to question, break free, and redefine the boundaries of what is already known.
