Add to basketCharles Scribner's Sons, 1912; 7-9/16"; pale blue-gray cloth with all black lettering; pictorial front, in black, white & peach, shows a man in casual western dress sitting on a pony and talking to an oriental-looking man, a coolie carrying goods and a hint of an oriental temple in the background, in black, white & peach; title and author listed at top with single peach line above & below author s name; spine has same two lines & a small black star in the very middle; plain white end pages; frontis + 3, all on coated paper; page listing all illustrations; 4 pages of book advertisements at rear of book. The exterior of the book is square, very clean, with no corner bumps or edge dings; only the head and heel of the spine are bumped, lightly and without fabric damage. The FFEP has a penciled 1913 inscription; other than that, the interior is clean--it is free of writing, stray marks, and any sort of paper damage.
