Dragon Slayers' Guild (Hand of Fate)

A mage-detective fleeing the guilds. An assassin seeking redemption. A thief with dangerous appetites. They all want to be left alone. They'll be lucky to be left alive.

Abbey Ax'l is the jaded new gnome in town. She failed to avenge her father and jealous rivals have ousted her from the guilds. Escaping west under a false name, she vows to leave the past behind to start anew.

But old habits die hard. This new city is rife with corruption. The criminal underworld seeks a powerful relic. And a dragon threatens to burn it all down. Abbey's better instincts cry out for justice. But why risk her life for a city that looks down on her?

Her only hope rests in two outlaws: a dark elf assassin turned monk and a human cat burglar on the run. With the dragon breathing fire down their necks and conspiring daggers at their backs, these three misfits have only two options: fight together or die alone.

Dragon Slayers' Guild is high fantasy gone rogue. If you like gritty storytelling, relatable antiheroes, and dark humor, you'll love this back-alley brawl of epic fantasy action and dungeon punk adventure.

★★★★★ "Dragon Slayers' Guild is a refreshing sword/sorcery tale that truly kept me on the edge of my seat. Brink's work rises to meet the highest (and harshest) fantasy expectations set by the classics, but also breathes a new life into epic fantasy for a new generation of readers."
