The Dragon Who Stole My Destiny: A Dragon Rider Romantasy of Fated Mates, Forbidden Love, Betrayal and War (The Last Dragon Chronicles)

Twenty-four-year-old Lyra Vale was supposed to be Aurelian's greatest hero, the Ash Blade who finally ended the war for good.

Now the crown that raised her is sending her beyond the last human road, into the mountains where dragons still hide, to kill the last dragon prince and finish what the kingdom started.

But when you're trained to feel nothing for the creatures you hunt, one look can undo everything, because Kael Draven isn't the monster the stories promised her. He's something worse. The moment their blood meets in battle, an ancient bond ignites between them, one neither of them chose and neither can break.

With every dragon that remembers her name, and every truth the crown buried to keep her obedient, Lyra starts to understand that the war she was raised to win was built on a lie.

She'll need more than a blade to survive what's coming.

Because the real war was never between humans and dragons. Something older has waited a thousand years for the world to destroy itself, and now that Lyra has found the one person who could unite two kingdoms, it wants her gone before she gets the chance.

Enemies. Fate. Betrayal. A crown neither of them asked for.

There are only two ways this ends. She chooses her own destiny, or someone else writes it for her.
