About the Author

As a child, the author was very inquisitive in his search to understand the world around him. That search led him down the path of first wanting to become a minister and then turning to graduate work and a career focused on science and engineering, disciplines which supplemented his knowledge of the world around him. Eventually, business acumen was added to his skills as he functioned in various management positions in the corporate world as well as in consulting. The philosophical leanings of the author, coupled with his creative side, became apparent in early works of art, song writing, and guitar playing and, more recently, culminated in writing fantasy and science fiction stories with a mythical quality to them. The author strives to convey in his writings and songs that we should respect the gifts that life has to offer each of us, as well as the awe and wonder of life's mysteries. The author is happily married and has three wonderful children and three grandsons.
