Mine Drainage (Paperback)

Paperback. Mining historian Kerby Jackson introduces us to a classic mining publication on Hard Rock Mining by H.C. Behrs. Unavailable since 1896, this rare publication provides an in depth look at American methods of underground mine drainage and mining pump systems. This volume provides a reference into not only practical methods of mining drainage that may be employed in narrow vein mining by small miners today, but also rare insights into how mines were being worked at the turn of the 19th Century.
