He also feels a certain draw to the styles and ideals of the Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood of the mid-nineteenth century.Hailes studied illustration and graphic design at Utah State University where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, as well as the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Having received several awards for his art from across the country, including Winner of the L.
