About the Author
A recovering nonprofit executive, King decided long ago to stop having meetings and start hosting visual conversations. As a graphic facilitator and Stick Figure Strategist®, King designs and hosts visual conversations for startup companies to elite Special Forces units, and everything in between. Her visual processes generate greater clarity, deeper understanding, more engaged teams and exceptional results for her clients.
Her popular first eBook, What You Draw Is Good Enough, convinces people around the world to pick up the pen and have fun drawing out ideas. Translated into Spanish and Czech, this book helps readers reconnect with the part of themselves that used to love drawing when they were kids, and to bring more of that fun-loving and creative part of themselves to all that they do.
King enjoys speaking publicly to share her passion and pass the pen for drawing out ideas while drawing forth the best in ourselves and each other at venues worldwide.
King holds degrees in psychology and nonprofit management, and is a past-president of the International Forum of Visual Practitioners. Her facilitation practice is grounded in such models as the Art of Hosting, Appreciative Inquiry and World Cafe.
Jeannel lives with her boyfriend, Jamie, and kitten, Wilhelmina Crabbycakes, in San Diego. She s a bit embarrassed about how much she loves ethnic food, blogging, animation and forced-creativity reality TV shows.
