A unique step-by-step approach to personal development and satisfaction that uses the medium of drawing to learn about ourselves
In our materialistic society, many people are not encouraged to embrace their creativity. So they quietly shut down that part of their inner lives. Even people who learn to embrace their creativity may find themselves blocked by past emotions. Heather Williams has developed playful yet profound exercises to teach not only the technical but also the emotional skills that artists and nonartists alike need to create and heal their lives. Throughout, Williams’s gentle, fun, and compassionate guidance extends an invitation to see ourselves and our world with new eyes and an open heart.
Explore three different approaches to drawing in this book:
- See and draw the world around you
- Explore and draw the world of memories, emotions, and dreams within you
- Access your intuition and draw out its guidance
Heather C. Williams is a retired art teacher for middle and high school students. She also has been a High Watch Mentor in The Prosperos School of Ontology since 1978, teaching Prosperos classes (Translation® and Releasing the Hidden Splendour™) to draw knowledge out of individuals and help them connect with their Innate True Self. Heather will be eighty years old in 2027, and she is concerned with the rapid rollout of artificial intelligence and the agenda of the transhumanists. Her life purpose now is to help people who are interested in letting go of our separate-ego-self identity (me) and open up to and draw out our Innate True Spiritual Self identity, which is our essence, our oneness with life energy (I AM!).
Heather has been drawing since she was a child. For ten years, Heather led drawing exercises around the world for the Louise Hay International Teacher Training. As an apprentice for Norwegian artist Jan Valentin Saether, she learned a whole new way to approach observational drawing. She shares this wonderful new way of drawing with readers of this book and with students who attend her weekly online Drawing as a Sacred Activity Class.
Heather grew up in Wisconsin, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art and humanities from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh in 1970, lived in California for forty-three years, and now lives in Tennessee with her life partner, Cynthia.
