Why cant I draw what I see? Long-time drawing instructor and celebrated artist John Torreano answers this much-asked question, showing how to visualize three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface. Torreano offers a series of exercises to help the reader to train his or her eye and to enable anyone, regardless of age or experience, to draw. Lively, accessible, and authoritative, the book includes illustrations to demonstrate techniques, examples of student drawings, and historical examples of drawings by famous artists.
