The three siblings van Woensel seem to have been working on the same plate in different moments, displaying the heads in different directions. In fact, it is not clear from which side this impression was meant to be read. Signed under each head. Keeping that with the number as the top margin, left to right, from top to bottom the signatures are: "I.V.W.V." (Johan), "S.M.V.W." (Susanna Maria) and the two at the bottom: "P.V.W." Etching on paper with margins, plate mark: 148 x 142 mm, total: 161 x 252 mm; in outstanding condition, despite some dirt and smudges along the most external margins. Period Made: 1800-1850. Place of publication: The Hague.
