Early edition of the autobiographical sketch of children's book illustrator Ernest Shepard, best known for his illustrations of the Winnie the Pooh series and books by Kenneth Grahame. A small octavo in very good plus condition in a good dust jacket. The dust jacket is a bit edgeworn with tiny chips and two larger chips on the spine panel. One of the spine pieces between ffep and attached fep. It has an intact price of 3.75. The book itself is covered in light red cloth with gilt, and is unmarked with a tiny bookstore sticker.
