This short story really came from a dream. One rainy, cold night Bill is thrown back in time to the late 1800's and becomes his own Great Grandfather. How did he get there? Will he be forced to live back in time or will he be able to get home? Thinking life should be less complicated in "a simpler era," Bill is confronted with a love affair his Great Grandfather was involved in that could change the course of his history. Twists and interesting philosophical viewpoints will keep the reader intrigued right to the surprise ending.

Mel Pittel lives in Minneapolis and owns Great Cruises, Inc. - a travel agency specializing in cruise vacations. He has been in the travel business for 40 years and has travelled extensively around the world. These travels have given him a vast knowledge and extraordinary insight into many facets of life. He has previously written articles for airline inflight magazines, newspapers and newsletters. His previous writings include a minor league "future stars" book written with his son that was requested by the National Baselball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY and a fictional novel - Terror In The Sky.
