Synopsis
Just about everyone has had at least one dream that we cannot forget! On the other hand, maybe we can only remember a small portion of it so clearly that we see it repeatedly when our eyes are closed. Some of us may have had a dream that gnaws away at us... wondering what the meaning could be, or perhaps have had a frightening dream that seems to be predicting a harsh event or tragedy. Have you been praying for answers about a certain situation in your life? This author believes that dreams are a gift from God to all peoples, another way He communicates with us on a level that we can understand. This book deals with various parts of the human body and their actions, suggesting possible interpretations; using scriptures that may help with the interpretation; listing a variety of ways the various body parts and actions are used in today's world. By researching 'human body symbols... lower body and internal organs' that we have remembered from our dreams, we just may find an answer...to a prayer.
About the Author
Being an avid dreamer and a big believer in prayer, I found myself overjoyed to discover answers to some of my prayers with symbols I recognized in my dreams, and what those symbols were interpreted as in the Bible.
I have spent a big part of the past 15 years researching and studying the 'Word' of God, and dream/vision symbolism, and have compiled it into some books. I have a Bachelor's degree in Theology. I've also taught Sunday School for children, served as a Praise and Worship Leader, and Deacon. I also have been so blessed to have served as a Secretary for 7 years, and then as President for 9 years, at a Community Lighthouse Aglow in Alaska, for Aglow International.
I am enjoying a 30 something year marriage with my husband Steve, a funny, generous, down to earth man, whom has been my biggest encourager, along with our 3 children and a passel of grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren whom have listened patiently for hours upon hours of my talking about dream subjects.
Having lived a life of extremes, especially living in the Interior of Alaska for well over 30 years, and now in Nevada, has made me aware of how amazingly extreme our God is. He who loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to be born and live alongside us on this earth for 33 years, healing and teaching us about God, to end up being beaten almost to the point of death, hung with spikes through His hands and feet to a wooden cross, and left to die...taking on all our sin, only to be raised from the dead...destroying the power of death over His children...extreme is somehow not even close to a description used for that kind of love.
Plus, how he created our bodies and the way they function. And the world we live in with all its interesting intricate weavings of life, beauty, and functionality are other examples of our Creator's extreme ways of doing things.
