Dreams and Seascapes

If your entry-phone buzzer wakes you in the middle of the night, would you answer it? If whoever is outside will not go away would you eventually have to find out who is out there? If the person outside is your ex-girlfriend, and you know it's very cold, pouring with rain and blowing half a gale off the sea, would you let her into your apartment? If your ex-girlfriend is an addict, as crazy as a sack full of feral cats, would you let her into your place? Even though you know she's nothing but trouble, would you open the door? In a moment of weakness Jack Collier makes Gemma welcome to his penthouse, and lives to regret it because Gemma could get into serious trouble in a closed convent. Jack Collier thought he had a good life, a top floor apartment, boat, sports car, and enough money he only had to work if he wanted to. All Jack Collier wanted was a quiet life, what Gemma and her friends gave him was the exact opposite. Some say it's good to live in interesting times.
