About the Authors
Balraj Verma works as an Assistant Professor at Chitkara Business School-Doctoral Research Centre with Chitkara University, Rajpura, Punjab. He had his PhD from Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat and holds a master's degree in Business Administration and has 16 years of academic and corporate experience. He has qualified National eligibility test (NET) for teaching in the management discipline. He had been teaching courses like Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Business Statistics and Research Methodology. He believes in quality research and has published many papers in ABDC listed/ Unpaid Scopus Index journals. He has authored/edited books and many book chapters so far published by reputed major presses. He has been actively involved at different levels in organizing Workshops/ Conferences by the Department/ University.
Babita Singla is a professor at Chitkara Business School, Chitkara University, Punjab, India. She has a Ph.D. in management and is UGC-NET qualified. She has over 13 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration. Her areas of expertise are marketing, e-commerce, omnichannel, and retail. In her career, she has been involved in important academic and research assignments such as being the guest editor of a reputed journal, organizing and conducting international and national-level conferences and faculty development programs, and providing guidance for research projects. She has research publications in reputable international and national journals such as Scopus, SCI, etc., and has presented research papers at various national and international conferences. In the short span of 13 years of her career in academia and administration, she has authored and edited several books on retailing, supply chain management, branding, customer relationship management, and product management, covering the course content of various universities nationwide. She has successfully delivered guest sessions at international and national universities.
Amit Mittal, currently a Pro Vice Chancellor at Chitkara University, has over two decades of domestic and international experience in academic leadership, teaching, research, consulting, training and mentorship. At Chitkara University his current mandate is to manage and coordinate the PhD programs, research publications and international/domestic research collaborations. His areas of research and consulting expertise are International Marketing and Emerging Market Studies, Consumer Behavior, Brand Management, Shopping Behavior, and Business Research Methods. He is an active resource person for FDPs, MDPs & Corporate Trainings. He is a member of the thesis review board of a number of universities. He presently reviews for reputable journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change (Elsevier), Public Health (Elsevier) Benchmarking (Emerald), Technology Analysis and Strategic Management (Taylor and Francis), International Journal of Consumer Studies (Wiley), Journal of Public Affairs (Wiley), Routledge Studies in Global Student Mobility, International Journal of Emerging Markets (Emerald), Sustainability (MDPI), Management Decision (Emerald), IIM KSMR (Sage) etc. He serves on the editorial boards of Frontiers in Psychology (SSCI/Scopus indexed), Open Psychology Journal (Scopus indexed), Proceedings on Engineering Sciences (Scopus indexed) and Research on Enterprise in Modern Economy (Gdańsk Univeristy of Technology, Poland). He is presently a Visiting Professor at Pathumthani University, Pathumthani, Thailand.
