About the Author
Kenneth C. Dyer, Jr. is a Healing Minister and holds an honorary Doctor of Metaphysics degree from the Universal Life Church based upon life experience and self-study. He's been practicing the Japanese energy healing art of Reiki since 1997 and has been a Master Teacher since 2007. This healing art opened the door to his study of other areas including Medical Intuition, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Hypnotism, Herbalism and Nutritional Medicine. He's also a former CNA (Certified Nurse's Assistant) and has a Certification in Herbal Medicine from the Herbal Healer Academy. Immersed in self-study on numerous topics for many years, and an avid book reader, he researches topics that include holistic healing and natural medicine, psychic phenomenon, the theory of evolution and ID (intelligent design), UFO's and extraterrestrial life, religion and mythology, spirituality and quantum physics, politics and so-called "conspiracy theories", alternative power and off the grid "survivalist" techniques, among many other topics. Ken has no religious beliefs and rejects organized religion and all forms of unthinking, faith based dogma, but he's a very spiritual person. He knows that in this day and age science and spirituality are merging and each one compliments the other. He also knows that today's religion is tomorrow's mythology. He doesn't like to label himself, but as a very spiritual person he embraces eastern mysticism and philosophy such as Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism. He finds the idea of a holographic universe utterly fascinating, and considers those things to have many answers to various metaphysical questions. When asked "What religion are you?" he always answers "I am spiritual but not religious". When asked "Do you believe in God?" he typically replies "Not the traditional God, but I do believe in a 'higher power'". His favorite spiritual text is the Tao Te Ching from ancient China and he loves reading the books of the Indian mystic OSHO. A music lover (rock and roll in particular) and musician from childhood, Ken also plays guitar and bass and has future ambitions to form an alternative/hard rock band with himself on bass.
