- Book 3 of 3: dude, where the hell?
You know what you’re supposed to do.
Eat better.
Spend less.
Work out.
Get organized.
Stop procrastinating.
Put the damn phone down.
Finish what you start.
So why the hell is it so hard to actually do any of it?
Dude, Why Can’t I Get My Shit Together? is the brutally honest, funny, no-BS guide for anyone who is tired of making plans, breaking promises to themselves, starting over every Monday, and wondering why motivation disappears the second real life gets inconvenient.
This is not another book telling you to wake up at 5:00 a.m., take cold showers, meditate on a mountain, or build a seventeen-step morning routine before breakfast.
It’s about something much simpler:
Learning how to actually follow through.
Inside, you’ll discover how to:
-
Stop procrastinating on the things that actually matter
-
Build discipline without depending on motivation
-
Break the cycle of starting strong and quitting two weeks later
-
Create habits that survive busy schedules and bad days
-
Stop letting your phone destroy your focus
-
Make good decisions easier and bad decisions harder
-
Finally finish the projects you keep talking about
-
Stop using perfectionism as an excuse not to begin
-
Recover quickly when you screw up instead of giving up
-
Build enough self-trust to believe yourself when you say, “I’m going to do this”
Because the problem usually isn’t that you don’t know what to do.
You know.
You’ve probably known for years.
The problem is that knowing something and consistently doing it are two completely different things.
And every time you promise yourself you’ll change and then don’t, something happens.
You trust yourself a little less.
You stop believing your own plans.
You start thinking maybe you’re lazy.
Undisciplined.
Unmotivated.
Maybe you’re just “not that kind of person.”
Bullshit.
You don’t need a new personality.
You need better systems.
You need fewer excuses.
You need to stop waiting until you feel ready.
And you need to learn how to keep going after the inevitable day when everything goes to hell.
Written with humor, straight talk, and absolutely zero motivational fluff, Dude, Why Can’t I Get My Shit Together? is for regular people with jobs, bills, kids, responsibilities, distractions, bad habits, and goals they are tired of postponing.
You do not need to become perfect.
You need to become consistent.
Because your life is not usually changed by one massive decision.
It’s changed by the boring little things you do again and again when nobody is watching.
So if you’re sick of saying:
“I’ll start Monday.”
“I just need to get motivated.”
“I know what I need to do.”
“I’ll do it when things calm down.”
Then maybe it’s time to stop talking about getting your shit together.
And actually get your shit together.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
