Quarto, hardcover, near fine in green boards. Just a hint of corner wear. No dj. B&W Illustrations. Foreward by Herbert Warren Wind. Publisher's bulletin describing the book laid in. Green decorative endpapers. After WW I, two million Americans became golfers and thence it became a fabric of American life. Originally published in 1926 this is a golf classic with sportswriter Rice and cartoonist Briggs at the helm. 163 pp. and afterword by Jim Murray.

One example, I have a John Muir book where he has written in the margins all through it to correct mistakes made by the publisher.
