The Duke of the Moors (Large Print Edition): A Historical Regency Romance

An innocent woman on the verge of ruin.
A duke as dark and dangerous as the moors he crosses at night.
If she cannot win his heart, her family is doomed.

When Catherine’s rich uncle invites her to his country estate after years of disregard, she is more than surprised. Only at the urging of her mother, who hopes to find a husband for her daughter, does Catherine accept and travel to the isolated house in the Yorkshire Moors.

It doesn’t take long before her uncle reveals his reason for the invitation: Catherine must win over the legendary resident Duke of the Moors – otherwise her family is threatened with ruin. Countless rumours surround his nocturnal rides over the moor, and just as many mysteries surround him.

But the man whom she is supposed to ensnare for her family’s sake, treats her with icy coldness.

A midnight encounter changes everything. The dark duke saves Catherine from a fatal fall and leaves her with blossoming, confusing feelings. His eyes, which she can no longer let go, his touch, and above all, his mysterious past captivate her more than she can admit. She has to find out why he sneaks out of the house night after night!

Only when a shocking suspicion creeps up on her does Catherine suspect that the terrible truth about him is even more threatening than all the rumours...

Will she find true love, or will the Duke of the Moors be her downfall?

The Duke of the Moors is a standalone, traditional Regency romance with a dash of suspense. If you like strong heroes, romantic moments, and surprising fortunes, then this delightful love story will keep you reading deep into the night.
