This story touches on racial and social issues as well as a romance when Harry waits to love again. About the AuthorsDoug Riebock (Bobby Joe): This is Doug's second book through Dorrance Publishing. His first, Hunted, came out in November of 2023. He is enjoying retirement with his wife in South Elgin, Illinois. He enjoys gardening, walks, running, and following his six grandchildren around for various events. He is working on a third novel, The Boathouse, set in the early 1970s at the Knox Resort in Sholton, Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Puckaway. Mark Duncan (Billy Joe): Mark worked for the McCardle Group through Pheasant Run in St. Charles, Il; Winter Hotel Group as CFO/Controller and for Mendel Plumbing as Controller, also in St. Charles. He attended Elgin Community College, Eastern Illinois University and Northern Illinois University. He had lived in the St. Charles area for most of his life with his wife and two sons.
