Durkee Quick & Easy Casseroles (Favorite All Time Recipes)

All the recipes were developed by skilled home economists in the Durkee Famous Foods Test Kitchen, were taste tested by consumers, and were retested again and again to ensure success. The "ready-to-bake" times given for the recipes are based on minutes required to assemble the casseroles. They iclude such preparations as opening cans, peeling and chipping vegetables, and shredding cheese. The times also take into account that some preparations can be done simultaneously, such as preparing a biscuit topping while a mixture is simmerlng. Preparations not calculated into these times include advance cooking of ingredients, such as pasta, rice and bacon, boning chicken, and thawing frozen vegetables. - description from introduction - provided by chardonmedia.
