Over the course of my career in the social services field my focus for helping others has come from my faith in the teachings of Jesus Christ. It is His focus of helping people who are hurting, lonely, depressed, isolated, rejected, guilty, grieving, in pain and often afraid in which I have emulated. In some small way I am hoping that God will use the books that I plan to write to continue to be available to help people during the most difficult times of life. I have learned that the work which Christ does through those who choose Him, often takes us to places which are difficult to view. His life, which prevails in the darkness, shines light which cannot be put out and promotes forgiveness, freedom, love and hope!
