HARDBACK, original green cloth, expertly rebacked with most of original (faded) spine relaid, gilt lettering on spine, blind embossed covers, corners and edges bumped and rubbed, covers faded and marked, new end-papers, former owner's name on front end-paper, ex-academic library with small stamp on bottom edge of title and last page and bottom page fore-edge only, edges uncut but opened, light pencilled marginal lines and notes, otherwise bright pages.
