Dynamics in Pastoral Care: Enhancing Transformative Soul Health (Principles of Pastoral Care)

Pastoral Care has roots in the history of the church drawing from pastoral theology, metaphor, symbols, and rituals, along with insights from the social sciences. This book explores pastoral care and counseling with special emphasis on the dynamic processes associated with training, supervision, relationships, life stages, faith development and theological reflection. The nautilus shell on the front can be used to symbolize this sort of dynamic, healthy growth. The past is not rejected, but provides stability for the present.
